Tonimo foundation carries out most of its key activities in Northern Uganda specifically in Alebtong District and neighboring districts like Otuke District, Abim District, Lira District among others.
What are the different activities under the different projects of Tonimo Foundation ?
1.Community Needs Assessment:
Conducting surveys, interviews, or focus groups to assess the needs, strengths, and priorities of the community.
2.Stakeholder Engagement:
Engaging with community members, local leaders, government officials, and other stakeholders to build partnerships, gather input, and mobilize support for the project.
3.Project Planning and Design:
Developing a comprehensive plan that outlines project goals, objectives, activities, timeline, budget, and resources required.
4.Capacity Building:
Providing training, workshops, or educational programs to build the skills, knowledge, and capacity of community members to actively participate in and lead the development process.
5.Infrastructure Development:
Implementing projects to improve physical infrastructure, such as building incinerators in schools for menstrual waste and community centers.
6.Livelihood and Economic Development:
Supporting income-generating activities, entrepreneurship, vocational training, microfinance initiatives, or small business development to enhance economic opportunities and reduce poverty.
7.Social Services and Welfare:
Delivering services and programs to address social issues such as education, healthcare, nutrition, sanitation, and social welfare.
